The oldest car in the fleet, our 1949 Jaguar Mk5 combines traditional pre-war class and elegance with a more modern post-war suspension design, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride.
With a Jaguar Royal Ivory exterior finish, plenty of chrome fittings, and a dark brown interior finish complete with extensive mahogany trim, the Mk5 has considerable rear passenger space (as can be seen from the picture above). One of the special features of cars of this period are the "running boards", the "steps" which extend from the front wings alongside the passenger compartment and which allow an easy and elegant entry into the car, particularly important in front of a crowd of guests!
The large upright chrome radiator and the headlights of this car provide an impressive backdrop for photos at any event, and the powerful 3.5 Litre engine ensures that you will be transported to your destination with the minimum of fuss.
